It would be helpful for me if the camera had a second zone that could be selected to record only when movement is detected without sending an alert. I would like to record passing trains and a railroad crossing but I don't need an alert for that. I use the current record/alert function for just the parking lot that's close to the railroad crossing.

Also, my RLC-510WA can't connect to a router that's configured as a repeater. I'm guessing that it may have the same problem as some Android phones. They give the message that it couldn't authenticate the connection. The camera doesn't give a message. It just fails to connect to the repeater. It connects fine to the main router or other wifi. I know the repeater/router is configured correctly because Windows computers and iPhones can connect to it without a problem.

is your repeater broadcasting a secondary wifi or does your devices only see 1 network in total.
It is common if there is a slight different in password or network name that it is still trying to connect to the main router
          instead or the extender.
Depending how it is setup can be worth trying to turn the main router off and see if the camera will then connect to the extender.

Only the 2.4 GHz won't connect to my S20 phone or the camera but connects to other devices. 5Ghz connects. It does connect to an older android tablet. The problem appears to be with some newer android devices as far as I can tell. The camera is at a remote location and is working on 5Ghz so I will probably leave it like that.
