Hi. I am Looking to get one of the Duo 2 cameras. The 180 degree field of view is ideal for the view I want.

Looking at a Wifi option and trying to decide between the powered model and the battery version. Not sure exactly where I will place it - whilst wifi won’t be an issue power might be and so the battery version would keep my options open.

1. is the the battery version exactly the same as the powered option? Just that the naming and the specs seem to imply it may be lesser in some aspects
2. presumably no issues in having a battery option that is constantly powered (if I do end up with it Close to a power source) Would be the same as if it was charged via a solar panel which is potentially an option too
3. in general any reasons not to go for the battery model? I already have a solar powered Argus which has worked fine for the last 3 years.

Hi. I am considering getting a Reolink Lumos. The option of Storage on the SD card works well for me. But I would like to understand if I can view videos stored on the card on the phone app from anywhere? it doesn’t have to be on the same wifi network as the camera?

just not sure how this works exactly... I understand how the app can retrieve the cloud storage from wherever this data is stored... but not sure how the app can get to the cameras SD card data from anywhere.

I need to be able to retrieve this data from anywhere and even within my home as the camera will be on a 2.4 wifi network and the phone on a 5ghz wifi network.
