And yet another one of my Argus camera batteries are low! There is no way to get beyond 4 months in standby with these cameras!

The advertised batteries life is from tests under controlled laboratory conditions. The actual batteries life depends on configurations, battery models, and many other factors; actual results will vary. 3-4 months of usage with occasional active live view seems normal battery life. And by controlled conditions you mean, PIR off and never activating the camera, via the app. Even with those conditions 6 months is ridiculously short, considering the camera is doing nothing.

I'm so tired of companies misleading consumers with specs that don't represent real life conditions!
