Motion alerts is sending picture as mime format
-
I have motion alerts set to send email with a picture attachment. The problem is that on my Iphone or pc the image cannot viewed, it is in mime format. What am I missing?
Help would be appreciated.

Hi Bmccrory,
Would you please kindly check from your email server whether the pictures can be viewed? -
I use Gmail and in a web browser the email appears as a long text file, not an attachment. On my Iphone it comes as a mime attachment when opened is again a long text file. In Outlook 2013 I get a jpg attachment that windows says it can't open. Oddly I have been able to open a couple of them in Outlook but I was tweaking the email setting looking for a solution and may have gotten lucky for a moment but the same file won't open on the other platforms.

Update, problem solved. A camera reboot solved the problem, should have tried that. Rookie mistake.
