      Hi all,

I've been setting up and testing some Reolink cams on the Hikvision NVR.  Everything actually works quite well with one exception thatI'm stuck on.

The 423 ptz model has presets which once loaded onto the camera via the Reolink software can be called by the NVR software.  They work fine and work with 3rd party motion detectors via the NVR.  What I really want to do is set a patrol or cruise path to activate on the infrared motion detection.  It appears though that the NVR can't call the cruise path from the camera as it does with the presets.

Now I think this is because the Reolink software names it's cruise path '0' and my NVR can only call presets named '1' '2' '3' or '4'.

Has anyone found a way round this?  Is it possible to have more than one cruse path on the reolink software or cahnge the name of the normal cruise path to '1'?

      Any help would be appreciated!

      Thanks

Hi, yes we had got some feedbacks about that. And our R&Ds are trying to fix it in the future. Thanks for your feedback.

I Just purchased a 423 and am trying to find info on how to set up presets. How do you set up a patrol? Is there any manual to reference. I haven't found one. Can you advise? Also, I have a Synology server. Is it possible to set up an action for the camera to initiate a patrol if it detects motion? Sure would appreciate some advice. Thanks

Hello, please refer to the FAQ here to set up preset and cruise:https://reolink.com/faq/set-up-preset-functions-rlc-423/

As to the second question, I'm afraid we do not support that.

              Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
