    Advice needed -- PC can't see cameras!

      I hope this is the right place. I currently use an NVR with 8 cameras for the security system at my business, however I'd like to switch to BlueIris instead of the NVR. I purchased a Netgear unmanaged PoE switch (GS116PP), and my intentions were to hook everything up to the switch to keep the security system isolated from the rest of the network.

      When I connect my NVR to the switch, it sees any cameras connected to the switch just fine. However, when I connect my PC and a camera to the switch, I get nothing. Perhaps I'm missing something here (while I am a tech savvy guy, networking is NOT my forte), but it seems it should be pretty simple considering it worked perfectly with the NVR.
