I am looking at getting the NVR for my cameras. I am curious what the recording time is? I understand that it is dependent on a lot of variables, but considering the worst case scenario of one 1440P camera, 30FPS, 24X7 recording, how many hours can I record?
Hi CirrusJoe,The recording space is determined by the BITRATE set in MAIN STREAM. For 4MP resolution, the default bitrate is 6144kbps.So, for one camera, the calculation will be:6144kb/s=768kB/s=0.75MB/s=2700MB/hr=2.64GB/hr=63.36GB/dayRLN8-410 has 1pc of 2TB HDD, equal to 2048GB.So, it will record at least 32 days for only one camera@4MP.If 4 cameras with 4MP resolution, it will need 63.36*4=253.44GB/day.
