Hello, I just bought the Reolink RLK8-410B4 NVR Kit with 4 cameras and I have the following issue:

After connecting the NVR to my TV, the mouse to the NVR, one camera to the NVR through Ethernet, the NVR to my router (an Apple Time Capsule 4th gen connected to my modem)  and followed step by step the wizard shown on the NVR, I'm stuck at the part where you add the PoE cameras (nothing is shown on the menu, I press the scan button and nothing happens, the list is blank).

I checked that all connections where fine, and even the camera is powered correctly through the ethernet cable because it shows the infrared lights. I tried connecting the Ethernet cable on multiple sockets on the NVR to no avail.

I left the network settings to be determined automatically by selecting DHCP.

What could I be doing wrong? Do you think part of the issue is my network configuration (Apple Time Capsule + my ISP router)?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi, for your problem, here is the suggestion:
        1. Try to reset the camera and then connect to the NVR to check.
        reset
        2. How about other cameras? Only this one or all cameras cannot be detected by the NVR? Please kindly check with another camera in the same Ethernet cable.
        3. Please kindly check the ports light on the NVR. The left LED is orange (flashing), it means the data transformation. And the right LED is green (keeping light on), it is the power from the Ethernet cable. Refer to below:
        port
Also, you can email to support@reolink to get solution.

Thank you, I followed your suggestions, unfortunately it didn't work:

          1. I reset the camera but the NVR still doesn't recognize them.

          2. I tried with every camera included on the kit using the same Ethernet cable to no avail.

          3. The leds flashes with the same colors as on the attached photo, on port 7. On other ports like 1, the leds do not get lit.

I just bought this kit so it's kind of frustrating that I can't get it working, I hope my unit isn't defective.
