I’ve only had my PoE NVR for a few days, but I have already found I get too many straight motion alerts due to wind, leaves, etc. I think I now have it set up to only alert on people, and I have eliminated areas that I want to see but not alert on with the detection function. My attitude is not to necessarily catch someone in the act with an instant alert, but to review what happens and hopefully gather good intel for police if needed. What is your thoughts on how you set your alerts.
