Hi All,Just received my Argus 2 and got it installed. I would like to send the PIR notifications to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8 android 8.0) but can't get it to work. Works fine to send them to my email address but I would prefer notification directly on my phone. I set the App authorizations on and off course got PIR on in the Reolink App. Just can't figure out how to get it to work. Seems to work on my wife's phone a Huawei P10 lite. Any suggestions?
Even I have this same problem with my s9.no push notifications are coming through. Strange
My S7 just updated to Android 8.0 and I noticed I'm no longer getting notifications either. I was getting notifications before that update though. Not sure if it's an issue with Android or with Reolink.
Found the solution and it's working now. It has to do with the battery saving settings in the Samsung settings. Google on delayed push notifications Samsung Galaxy S8 and you will find lots of instructions and videos on how to solve it. Good luck!
I tried changing battery saving settings but nothing helped. Last night Reolink sent out an update for the Android app and my notifications are back! Hopefully that helps everyone else too.
