Reolink did replace my camera. I only just tried to set it up now because I ended up getting another Ring camera. The camera works (so far) with my Eiot Club SIM card but not with the Verizon SIM. I even tried to use the one from my phone which I obviously know works and no joy. I tried to follow the instructions above for importing APN but my phone doesn't show a username or pw for the card. Just the APN (VZWINTERNET). I'm so frustrated. Ugh.
@joseph_1979 I also have two Eiot Club Sim Cards and I am having the same issue. It connects then it gets disconnected. The battery shows 100% charge even when unplugged from solar. The only way I can get it back up and running again is to connect it directly to a plugged in usb-c (which usually means me bringing it inside) and basically I have to reset it. Even doing that it will take several attempts to get it to actually connect. I will get a picture, put it back where it was and then the same thing ends up happening. So it doesn't actually seem to be related to my Verizon sim because I have this issue with the Eiot Club ones too. So I just did all that again and I have a picture but it stays connected for a bit and then will cr@p out, usually after I've gotten it hung back up. It worked well for about 3 weeks and then this started happening and of course I'm past the Amazon return window so I've spent money on something that will not stay working apparently. ***Edited to add***: I just tried to pull up the camera again after writing this post maybe 20 minutes ago ( it's till on my desk) and it wouldn't connect again UNTIL I plugged the USB cable back in. Then it connects. It's definitely not a sim card issue. Even if I could keep it connected to a USB/power source all the time, I don't think these are meant to be kept plugged in constantly other than with solar and that doesn't keep the connection anyway. $200 paperweight at this point.
I got a Verizon SIM card to add this camera to my Verizon account. It's not data only the SIM card is attached to a phone number. I installed it and initially I was able to get a picture and I could see the SIM card number in the settings under the mobile data. And then it just stops connecting and recognizing the SIM card and I keep going back and forth like that. It recognizes it and connects and then it doesn't recognize it and won't connect. The battery has 100% charge. Suggestions?
