@joseph_1979 - Not really a request. I see no reason they or someone can't reply to this on here....
No reply from Reolink so far as to the direction of products being developed and future of the POE systems....... Interesting ......
Is there any effort being put into POE systems or is the whole direction wireless now??
Thanks for the reply.
Re: Better buying optionsDid the topic above get any traction? I wouldn't mind picking up a system but I have more use for a 4 camera system with a couple of different cameras. One with a 4.0mm, rest at 2.8mm and having one of them able to do two way audio were as the rest of them really don't need it. Having the deals with all the same cameras in a package isn't ideal.
I am currently comparing cameras, seeing what will fit my needs the best and I don't understand a few things.1) when looking at the Specs for the D1200 there is a 2.8mm and a 4.0mm what is the difference and what is the measurement referring to?2) there is a bundle option (comes with cables) for the bullet style 1200B4 but nothing only a standard kit (no cables) for the 1200D4 turret style, what's up with that?3) in the specs under Video & Audio for the Audio category some say 'Audio Recording' and others say 'Cameras with built-in mic' what??? I am assuming Audio Recording is meaning it records audio and no idea what I you mean with 'Cameras with built-in mic' so it doesn't ??? 4)The turret style camera I am assuming if you mount it on a horizontal surface you could still pivot it in the downward direction just by turning the base of it, correct? any clarity
Thanks people.... I have a cable run all set up, that will be the easy part for me.... get a good angle with a good picture day or night is more of the issue.
I have looking at a number of different camera options but always seem to come back to the 822A but where I would like to place them is close to a outdoor light and I am wondering how bad the light would affect the night mode of the camera. In case its hard to tell I would like to place it on the post, it would make the install easy. If not that then right in the middle above the white blacked out part but I have a feeling the wife might not go for that.
