Which one has a better detection zone? I will basically need to have one of the cameras facing forward and the other more toward the right. I understand I will have to adjust it until I get the detection I need. I would want the one with the widest detection zone.
@joseph_1979 Thanks for the reply. What a mess. I tried that and the camera said it was connected to the router, but the software couldnt access it. I deleted it and started over. Then got it to connect to my phone but not the computer. Am not really sure how I did it but after a couple of hours of trying, finally got it to work on both my computer and mobile phone.
I have a Duo 2 that I have connected to a dc adaptor. I am going to move the camera to another spot which will require solar. I also have a Argus pt camera that I want to use the dc power supply for. The problem being is its a usc-c connection, so I need a converter. My question is, what size is the dc plug will I need? It looks like a 2.5mm( by comparing pictures) but not sure and I have no way of measuring itThanks in advance
Hi, I updated my client software on my computer, and now the Argus 2 won't connect. However, on my phone app, it will. I also have a duo2 that connected to the computer client fineI have rebooted the Argus through the phone app and it didnt help.Any suggestions appreciated
Thanks for the reply. That stopped the alerts, but it keeps recording it filling up my SD card. Is there a way to stop detection on the other setting? (not the people, vehicle or pet) as they work fine.
HiDoes anyone know how to fix the issue of the camera detecting and alerting rain? Got a bazillion alerts over nite because of the rain. The bad thing was it wasn't raining that hard.Any advice appreciated
Has anyone experienced any issues with the wi-fi range on the Duo 2? It's only about 7 feet or so away from the wi-fi node. I at first thought maybe it was too far away from the router so I purchased a aimesh node. Didnt seem to helpI have a Argus solar that's probably 25 feet away and has a lot better connection.any suggestions appreciatedThanks Rick
Thanks for the replyThe wireless don't have the 5g capability option. Would be great if it did. Somehow, I think I got it figured out. On the app, just below the 3 dots there is a little box, If I press that I have the option of a screen with split windows windows and a full screen. I selected the windows screen and now they are both connected. They're little bity screens, but at least both are connected. Thanks again to all that replied
Thanks for the reply. If the app shows the battery one is disconnected, will I still receive a notification from it? Do you think I should place them both on the same 2.4 G . I was trying to limit congestion on the 2.4G is why I went with the 5G on the DuoThanks again for your help, much appreciated
Hi I have a Argus Pt solar wireless camera along with a Duo 2 camera. Both are connected by WI-Fi. The problem is that the Argus keeps showing disconnected in the app on the camera screen where both camera views are displayed. I can select connect and it takes me out of the dual screen display to its own screen where it connects and states connected. However, when I switch back to both camera screen display window, it immediately shows the Argus disconnected. Prior to the second camera install, the Argus stayed connected I had them both connected by a 2.4 connection when I first noticed the issue. I did switch the Duo over to a 5 g connection but didn't help. The only thing I found besides the ip address are of course different, was that the default gateways are different 101.1 for the 2.4 and 102.1 for the 5g. I don't know if this is normal or could be the problemAny suggestions appreciatedThanksRick
