@bo-fawzi_444846568546497 I have the same problem with 3 persistent reolink.exe processes never closing after exiting 8.8.4. Then I'm unable to launch the client again until I kill those 3 processes. Rolled back to 8.8.2.
I appreciate your inquiries and any insight you could shed on this issue but I wasn't really looking for diagnosis since I have a case I've been working with support. I was really looking to see if I'm an isolated instance or if others have the same problem. Anyway I just went through trying another backup and here are the results. Backup Start - End 19:00:06 - 19:59:41 backup fails19:00:06 - 19:59:45 backup fails19:00:06 - 19:59:48 backup fails19:00:06 - 19:59:50 Backup video from 19:59:49 - 20:00:0219:00:06 - 20:04:03 Backup video from 19:59:49 - 20:04:2018:59:52 - 19:59:45 Backup video from 18:59:34 - 19:59:4418:59:52 - 19:59:50 Backup video from 18:59:34 - 19:59:5218:59:52 - 20:04:03 Backup video from 18:59:34 - 20:04:20
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Yes, if the start time is after 19:00 it will fail if the end time is before 20:00. But if I set start time to 18:59 to 20:00 then it creates the backups.
Been working a problem for almost 2 weeks with Reolink support and I'm curious if anyone else has seen this issue. If I try to do a backup between 19:00 - 20:00 CST (00:00 GMT - 01:00 GMT) the backups will fail. But if I begin the backup at 18:59 CST it will backup fine. All video playback is fine, it's just backup that fails. Backup on console to USB in the 19:00 - 20:00 time period crashes the NVR and reboots while on the Windows client it just comes back with Fail. This seems like a firmware issue related to DST possibly but I've not found any other posts about this issue. I have a RLN8-410, hardware No. N3MB01 and firmware v3.0.0.200_22081500
