@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 himany thanks. I can’t find that option in the NVR, Client App, Phone app or the browser. Can you please point me in the right direction?also, could you advise whether the cameras have additional features (like pet detection) if I don’t have the NVR and have the cameras individually addressable via a dedicated PoE switch and NAS storage?many thankspeter
@user_632641559548022_632641559548022 I would check the cable runs are free from any EMI/RF noise. I have discovered that bps can be affected if you have a network cable run past a noisy DC adapter in a cupboard. Silly, but true.
I have just installed my RLN8-410 NVR (v3.2.0.212_22111814) and 4x 811A PoE Cameras and set the motion detection to low (10) and a sensible min / max size for cars and people detection. After following the guides in the support section on fine tuning motion detection and avoiding false alerts, I have turned off All Motion alerts as the rain is causing too many events. However, the rain is triggering the spotlights, which in turn triggers a vehicle detection alert from the stationary car on the drive when the feed switches from day to night. Is there any beta software for the cameras to address this, or any other suggestions?
