From what I read I think you can only arrange them to put the empty channels to the bottom. You can delete them from the channel list but the camera layout display will still show them. Seems the way it is designed. I just went for a nas to the rln36.
Do you have a router connected or just the modem? Maybe it needs a router for the extra devices?
OK thanks. Actually they are connected to poe switches on my network and are seen by the rln36 even though they are not directly connected. I have 2 ethernet cables connecting the nvr to my network. One to a camera port and the other to the Lan port or whatever. I moved them from my ds218+ to the 36 nvr over the weekend. I wanted to see if any apps worked before buying one. Maybe I'll try sideloading the reolink app.
I just migrated my cameras from my synology nas to the rln36 nvr. I used to use the app onvifr to browse them but with the nvr they are no longer seen as onvif compliant. Does anyone know a good free or cheap app that works? Thanks.
