I updated the Reolink APP on 4 Android phones. After updating, the push notification option on each phone was disable (switched off). I would not have noticed but I accidentally triggered the camera myself and only received an email. I have to checked all options on each phone after a Reolink APP update and no other options were changed just the push notification.Do I have to check each option after an APP update?This is the second time an update has caused the push notification to be disabled. (So just a warning - after updating Reolink APP check your options -especially push notification.)
@joseph_1979 I can enter the cloud credentials but now (Version 4.39) each time the phone power is cycled or the app is closed and re-opened (after a long time) I need to re-enter the credentials/admin password to re-link with the cloud. The previous version 4.38 saved the cloud credentials, like the cameras password, and I never again had to enter them. I have tested this on 4 different phones and once the app is closed or the phone power is cycled the cloud credentials must be re-entered to reestablish the cloud storage link. Version 4.38 cloud credentials saved and never had to re-enterVersion 4.39 cloud credentials only saved until the app is closed or phone power cycled.
In Version 4.38 I could login into the cloud by just clicking Cloud ---> Cloud Storage. In Version 4.39 you need to know your admin (user) password to first connect your cloud to the REOLINK App on the phone. I can see where this might be more secure if the REOLINK App is used by other users without ADMIN permission. However, REOLINK should have informed the ADMIN users about the cloud permission change so they had the password available, if necessary. Also, in Version 4.39, I sometimes get the login screen just by opening the app. If I close (click X) this screen, it seems to work fine. I assume this "feature" is just a bug.
