On top of Motion Zones not working, Smart Detection is not working either. We just received a winter storm in the North East and the cameras recorded all of the night snow. Filtering the view to just vehicles and people also showed just snow. These cameras are not functioning as advertised.
At your website, https://reolink.com/us/product/rlc-510a/, it says Motion Zone IS supported."Motion Zone You can customize the motion zone to your like, deciding where objects’ movements will be detected and where they will not."
That's absurd. My whole purpose in upgrading was to just record actual events on my property. I have no interest in recording every car that drives down my street. That defeats the whole purpose of receiving motion notifications and reviewing on-property footage of actual motion events. This needs to be fixed!
I updated my cameras to the RCL-510A. I set up motion detection zones, but it is still recording areas that are masked off. This did not happen with my 410S's. Please advise.
I've been running the 7.2.2.XX client software for years without issue on Windows 10. All of the sudden, it started crashing after a couple of minutes if two or more cameras are displayed in the Live View. Did the new version of Windows 10 (19041.508) break it?
