@user_713403785318571_713403785318571 I tested two 10 meter cables.1) A 22 AWG cable from Aliexpress. This is thin and feels light. Cost 7.60 €. According to specs the cable is rated for 3 amps. My RLC-523WA works ok ultil IR lights are turned on. When the IR lights are on PTZ does not function properly. 2) A 20 AWG cable from a local store. This feels much heavier and is thicker. Cost 9.50 €. The cable is rated for 2 amps. Everything works ok. IR lights won't cause any problems. The two tested cables side by side.
@md I would like to see an option to use H264 instead of H265. RLC-811A uses H264 at resolution 2560x1440 so this works ok.
I would like to use h264 and 4K resolution but RLC-811A uses automatically h265 which doesn't work on web browser and my cellphone cannot view 10 FPS. 2560x1440 and 25 FPS works flawlessly because the camera will use h264. I would like to manually choose between h264 and h265!
@joseph_1979 I'll test the 10 meter 20 AWG cable because it is the thickest ready made cable I could found. If I want eg. 18 AWG cable I need to buy the cable and the conenctors separately.
HelloWhat is the voltage range for RLC-523WA?I need to use 10 meters DC extension cable which is 20 AWG / 0.5mm^2. At 2 amps this will cause 1,33 V voltage drop. Only specs I can find for RLC-523WA are DC 12V 2A, <24W. I don't know if this is for the DC power supply or is this what the actual camera will require?
