App no longer supported by Amazon Fire?

I had been using an old Amazon Fire HD 8 as a monitor for my E1 outdoor camera. The app a couple days ago just won't connect to the camera. I tried reinstalling the app but now on the play store it says my device isn't compatible with the app.

Is that right? Anyone know a fix?
