Many people's homes have soffit or wall mounted floodlights that could be easily replaced with a wifi floodlight/camera combination capable of recording 24/7. Very often it is difficult or impossible to run an ethernet cable to these locations. I think it would be a big seller for Reolink. Are there any plans for something like this?
The Argus 4 Pro is a beautiful little dual lens camera but only comes in a solar/battery version. Reolink needs to make this camera in a powered WiFi version. PLEASE!
When using Windows Client during playback on NVR it is possible to zoom in while viewing a recording, but if you hit pause to get a closer view of a zoomed image the view is immediately zoomed out. If you pause playback first and then try to zoom in, nothing happens. That is not the case with the Reolink App. When using the Reolink App, playback can be paused and then it is possible to zoom in on an image. I would like to see the Windows Client updated to allow for pause/zoom to work at the same time.
I really like the looks of the new Argus 4 Pro, and it would be the ideal camera for an enclosed patio. Are there any plans to introduce a version of this camera that can be powered by an AC adapter?
It would be great if the Reolink NVR was recognized by Alexa so I can pull up the video feed on my Alexa enabled devices. Are there any plans to make that happen? Thanks, Randy
After ordering and installing two RLC810 cameras and the RLN8-410 NVR, I unfortunately learned that it is not possible to connect the NVR to Alexa in order to view the cameras on Alexa enabled Smart TV's. The only way to do that would be to install an Ethernet POE switch/power injector in place of the NVR....thereby making my purchase of the NVR a complete waste of money. In addition to having to purchase the POE switch, I would also have to purchase SD cards for the cameras in order to record events. My Alexa enabled TV's work great with Ring cameras....all I need to do while watching TV is to ask Alexa to show me the backyard and it immediately pops up on the screen. The 4K Reolink camera system I purchased is wonderful, but I hope that Reolink technicians will read this and make their NVR compatible with Alexa in the near future.
