my pc client software (version ends in 40) does not have this option box. How can it get it? Or how can I convert the .264 files to something I can playback more easily than the slow process of regular "playback'
Hello, Dlatch,Please go to Local Settings > Transcode to convert the H.264 file into AVI file.Click Add to choose the H.264 file which you would like to transcode, highlight the file and click on Transcode, the State will show whether the file has been finished. After successfully transcode the file, it will be saved to the Save Path showed above. Now with the latest firmware(160708), the recorded file is MP4 by default, you may upgrade the firmware of your camera, there will be no need transcode the file then.
I finally figured out the transcode window. With the transcode conversion I can view them in Windows Media Player but the whole process is bothersome at best.Getting to Playback in the client is minimum 4 clicks. OK. BUT at that point you have no idea where the events are on the timeline. AND search does nothing. Correct me if I am wrong. All eight cameras are set for Motion 24-7. why can't I search?
Hi, if you want to search the event, you can choose it then it will show on the timeline. Refer to below:On the client, it supports 4 windows playback at the same time. If you need to check other channel, you can drop them to the windows to check.Sorry for the inconvenience.
