I had my 4 camera NVR system working perfectly. I upgraded the new firmware for the NVR and it still worked. I upgraded the new firmware for the cameras and now I just get a black screen or they say "Video Loss." The system was working before I upgraded the firmware. I want to go back to the OLD firmware!
Hi, for your problem here is the suggestion:1. Please kindly confirm your NVR is PoE NVR or WiFi NVR and the firmware version you upgrade of both NVR and camera. If it is PoE NVR, please kindly check the ports light on the NVR. The left LED is orange (flashing), it means the data transformation. And the right LED is green (keeping light on), it is the power from the Ethernet cable. Refer to below: 2. Please kindly reset the camera to check. Refer to:Also, you can email to support@reolink to get solution.
It is WiFi. I downloaded the correct firmware. I need to revert back to the old. I've reset the cameras and the NVR multiple times. It still either gives me a black screen or says "Video Loss"
Thanks for your valuable feedback.please right click on the live view screen and go to Channel, will you see any camera under Device List? If yes, what's the Status? If there is no camera listed, I'm afraid you may need to bring the camera down and connect them to the NVR via Ethernet cable to sync them again.
I have done all this several times. It is showing "PREVIEWING" but I'm not getting a video signal just a black screen on each camera. Sometimes it will say "VIDEO LOSS" and then go back to black. I have reset the cameras, I've connected them directly to the NVR and to my router and used the Reolink Client. Nothing will make the cameras work again. The firmware update ruined them.
When I connect the cameras to the NVR directly via the ethernet cord it gives the IP address 192.168.xxx.xxx but it says CONNECT FAILED under the status.
My problem is very similar, but it happens to me on my new NVR with cameras connected through Ethernet. Maybe my NVR came with the defective firmware?
It was a PoE NVR and the port lights flashed correctly.I followed all the steps the support team gave me but unfortunately they ended up concluding my unit was defective, I returned it today to Amazon :(.
Clearly the newer firmware is the problem. You need to correct the firmware and everything will be okay.
I have the exact same problem. Used to work fine and now lost all cameras after firmware upgrade. Can I put the old firmware back on somehow or do I have to return to amazon?
Same problem with my new Reolink 16. Out of the box worked then upgraded firmware to latest version and now the cameras stopped working. I would roll back the firmware if I could, but since I cannot I will be returning to Amazon for a refund.
