Hello community.I'm setting up a home system, mainly to view outside around my home. My plan is to buy the RLK8-410B4 kit and then add on 4 more cameras, but I'm having trouble picking which cameras to add on. The 411 compaired to the 422 camera look like they serve very different purposes but from what I can tell have very similar specs. Can someone give me some tips on how I would use them (or place) them differently. The location I'm planning on placing cameras are:
Hi, Chris. For the inside kids game room, you can choose the RLC-422, it can be mounted on the corner of the ceiling. For those outdoor area, you can choose the RLC-411, it has 4X optical zoom so that you can wider view angle.
Both RLC-422 and RLC-411 have 4x optical zoom according to the website.I have mainly RLC-422's installed everywhere. Both inside & out. They work fine & are more protected in the dome. The RLC-411 does have better night vision distance according to the website though. I have not owned one to say for sure though.
