Hello,

I have a 16channel NVR that I bought back in 2018. At the time, I was told by reolink that this NVR can only support 4TB HDD for a total of three HDDs (two internal, and one external using eSATA port).

I learned recently that some newer 16ch NVRs support up to 6TB HDDs per sata port. Is it possible to expand the HDD capacity for my current NVR with a FW update?

@jeremy-xzm-reolink_178542373003497 Hi Jeremy, I can't quote Reolink here but I've just got the 8 channel NVR with my first Reolink camera and on YouTube there is a video showing somebody using a 6TB HDD in the 8 channel rather than the max they say which is 2 x 4TB HDD's
