I just received my Keen unit yesterday in the post and will be diving into it hopefully this weekend!  Excited to see what it can do and how it matches with the other products Reolink sells.  The test application has been solid with older cameras and I will post any issues with the Keen device.

Looking forward to hearing how others will find the devices.  Thanks Reolink for allowing me the privilege of testing the unit.

Question on what arrived with Keen.  All the items appear to be in the box.  However, the camera requires four batteries and the PRI requires one, but the unit came shipped with a total of four batteries only.  Being they are not standard (AAA, AA, C, D) batteries, are the ones provided easily found at stores that carry batteries?

Initial Observations of Keen after unpacking it.  The below will be modified as needed or updated as the testing continues.

          Documentation:

          • Decent quick start guide for the camera, but understanding how the PRI pairs this these units is not covered.  Can I have 2 more more Keen units in the same room using different PRIs; are they paired in some way?

          Hardware:

          • I liked the voice commands for setup, but would like more delay between repeats

          • There is no easy or quick way to disable the voice commands, without removing batteries

          • The device has no external “off” button or switch, must remove batteries

          • Looks like the C1/C2 but there is no power adapter in the back

          • The motors in the Keen are the same with the C1/C2; same level of noise

          • Like with the C2, the antennas can get in the way of the video frame; stick up in view

          • Would like to place the camera on a flat surface up higher, but the downward pivot is limited by the stout body

          • No ability to zoom with this model like the C2, I would like to have that ability with the Keen

          • Currently no NVR support (not seen on the network) with released firmware

          • I like that the form factor is rather small and the camera is stable.  Able to place nearly anywhere.

          • The shipping box provided all the necessary items (PRI, mounting brackets, screws, tape, etc).  It was lacking on battery for the PRI unit.

          • The 5v power connector is hidden behind the battery compartment, so this needs to be removed if used

          • I would like to have seen the product utilize more standard battery options (AAA, AA, C, D, 9v), etc.

          Client Software:

          • I like the ability to view battery level of the device from the client.

          • Easy WiFi Setup and procedure and configuration

            Lucky you!

I really don't like products that use not readily available/proprietary batteries...

Thanks @Manxmariner and the battery used in the device is not proprietary but not one that I think is readily available to Walmart or your local drug store.  It is a CR123A 3v battery.  I assume most hardware stores may have them or I know Amazon has them.  Just not something I have stocked at home with other batteries.
