Recently purchased Reolink NVR system issues

I just purchased a Reolink NVR and cameras from Amazon. I've set the whole system up and I absolutely love the cameras. However, there are a few things that could be deal breakers and would likely cause me to send this back to Amazon:
- Fast forward/high speed playback is not available. Every other system I've researched and/or tried out has this feature.
- Client constantly becomes unusable on mobile, Mac, and PC. With mobile, it constantly hangs. With PC and Mac, the live view shows white windows instead of live streaming.
- No remote. Every system I've researched and/or tried out has a remote but this one.
I'm hoping to get some good answers back from Reolink other than "well this is like youtube". If I wanted to watch a movie of what I've recorded, that's fine. But, for a NVR I expect to be able to at least do a high speed viewing directly from the NVR. Exporting and converting files is not an acceptable solution. If I had that kind of time, I'd sit outside of my house and just watch for intruders while sitting on my bench.
I'm just guessing, but I don't think a perfunctory Reolink reply to this would grant a stellar review on Amazon, and would likely cause me to return the whole system. A comprehensive reply would be appreciated.
