Reolink Cameras with Hikvision NVR

Does anyone know if Reolink cameras are compatible with a Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2/8P NVR? I have already purchased the cameras and the NVR, but I cannot seem to get them to display. The NVR recognizes that the cameras are plugged in but does not display an image. All I get is a warning triangle saying network unavailable. I have tried connecting with a router as shown in the FAQ for 3rd party NVRs, and the NVR sees the camera on the network but I cannot add it to the working list of cameras. Any help would be appreciated?

Different NVR from different brands has its own UI (internal language to communicate). I think this may cause you trouble like that.
Can you post some pictures from the interface on your NVR? Maybe I would be intersted in studying the case with you.
BTW, did you try changing encode settings for Reolink cameras before you connect them to Hikvision NVR? For example, change "H.264 Profile" into baseline, etc..

Has anyone gotten a reolink camera to fully function with a hikvision nvr?
