RLC-520A connected to RLN16-410 missing Person / Vehicle options

I added a new RLC-520A camera to an RLN16-410 NVR. In the Reolink client (version 8.8.5), I am missing the Person / Vehicle detection options. How can I get these options so I can configure the alarms when persons or vehicles are detected?

It seems that I had to close and reopen the Reolink client for the Smart Detection options to appear. I'm good to go now.
