Does the NVR auto record all the time or do I have to start each camera manually? Also how do I erase videos, please.

        Hi Muchluks,

The NVR will do recording when the camera is connecting to the system and can see its live view.
To erase videos, we need to format the HDD and remove all files. It is not suggested to do so, as the system will overwrite the earliest recording files when the HDD is full.

If you have to format the HDD, please do remember to copy the needed recordings to a USB drive or download to your PC directly via Reolink Client.

Thank you. Also, is the Hard Drive red light supposed to flash while recording? And what does a solid red light mean, please?

            Hi Muckluks,

The red light flashing means the system is recording properly.

If the light does not blink, it has below possibility:
            1. the cameras are all not in live view
            2. the system is set MD recording and there is no MD events to trigger recording
            3. the HDD is full and disable OVERWRITE. If it is chosen NO, it will stop recording when the HDD is full.
