      Hey Guys,

      I’ve brought a REOLINK system, I have brought a Wi-Fi doorbell (wanted POE but I could only find a Wi-Fi one in the uk) and cctv system ( 4x RLK8-800d4 1 x RLN8-410 NVR) .

I chose REOLINK as I hate the idea of havei g to pay a subscription for a doorbell and REOLINK claim if you have a NVR then you wound ever pay any subscription, which I guess is true BUT you don’t get any push notifications unless you subscribe to there cloud.

is this right or am I totally missing something????

can I set my camera up and receive notifications without a subscription????

      thansk in advance

@adamatis_678013717098701 I do have the WIFI doorbell and have no issue to receive push message notification. I didn't bind it to the cloud and so I don't get the rich notification. Just the normal push message notification. But if you want the rich notification then you need to subscribe.

thank you for the reply! I have an electrician installing my cctv and doorbell on Monday.

what is the difference between a notification and “rich” notification????

@adamatis_678013717098701 In Rich notification you shall have the image attached to the notification message. You also need to have an account with Reolink as indicated in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/10883740871833-Learning-Rich-Notification-Function-?gclid=Cj0KCQjwz6ShBhCMARIsAH9A0qUMg1ZcafAVmoeCCsCFP-6vsuCIQ44MXtAeE4szwbuaPMp0ra1kv48aAqnpEALw_wcB
