The app updated on my Android 4.4 KitKat phone today May 11, 2017.  It is version 2.3.10.1 - the previous app had a slider button to turn motion detection on or off.  It is missing from this version. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app but the slider is still missing.  Is anyone else missing this feature?  I like to use it if mowing the lawn as an example - I don't need a hundred emails of me mowing and maybe as many videos and images filling up the SD card overwriting other more important stuff.  Was this feature taken out of version 2.3.10.1? Can this feature be added back in?  I don't have the previous app to roll back to.  RLC-411WS or RLC-410WS cams.

A few years later the scene modes may be a solution to your question, I have not tried it yet though: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026049414-What-is-Scene-Mode-and-How-to-Set-the-Scene-Mode-for-Your-Cameras-on-Reolink-App/
