RLC-1224A Binning option won't stay set

The new Binning option looks cool but how do I enable it?

I have one RLC-1224A and eight D1200 cameras which are now all updated to v3.1.0.2174_23050816

The Binning option drop down appears in the Advanced Display properties set to "Off" with another option for "Auto".. The value is changeable to "Auto" but when I leave the configuration and then return to the screen later it is always set to "Off" again.

How do I get this setting to stick? Is there something else I have to enable as well?

Note: This Binning option only appears in the Windows Client (v8.11.0) and the Mobile (android) app (v 4.38.0.4.20230703), NOT in the NVR (RLN16-410, N6MB01, v3.3.0.226_23031621) menu or in the web access menu where Binning does not appear at all. Maybe the NVR requires an update to support the configuration?
