Hello,My camera seems to be extremely noisy when in night mode. It looks fine during the day and early evening when the emitters are not on. The outside of the lens is clean But I have not tried to clean the inside of the lens (I'm not even sure if you can) Attached is the night capture. The noise is bright and in the left and upper right of photo.Thank-you for you time.undefined
It seems that the environment is too dard with less light. And the camera is a little far from your house. Pls try to do the Advanced settings to change the image:1. Exposure: set it to be Low Noise2. Backlight: set it to e Back Light ControlIf still cannot improve, we suggest to add some light support.Or change the installation to be closer to your house.
Hi Doobam,Is there anything white or bright-colored adjacent to the camera where it is mounted? I had a similar problem when I mounted my camera under the eave of my garage where a white downspout was in close proximity. It was reflecting the IR back into the camera. I changed the mounting a bit and fashioned a shield for the camera out of aluminum with flat black finish facing camera/lens. This reduced the glare quite a bit. FWIW.Doc
The backlight control didn't seem to have any effect. Going back to the posted pic. The issue is not the general noise in the center of the frame but the whiteout on the left and upper right that is indicative of reflected IR energy directly back into the camera. The camera is mounted under the peak on the gable end of my garage. I'm going to try to isolate the lens from the eave with some cardboard and see if that makes a difference. I'm also going to look into IR illuminator for my yard. I will update this thread soon. Thanks for the responses.
