I have two Argus 2 cameras and want to use them with my Synology...When I follow the ReoLink instructions they don't work... and then I see the comment to the effect of (works for all except battery powered cameras like Argus2). I would expect that if you are going to take the time to exclude a product from most of your literature you would also create a separate set of instructions for that product.I need some guidance on where to go from here. 1) Is there a way to make my cameras work with my Synology2) Does anybody know why they are different?
It's not supported to use Argus with Synology NAS station. That's because Synology NAS station has no battery management opted for battery-powered Argus cameras, which will drain out batteries quickly.
Would you please post a list of supported devices /applications for the Argus 2?
