Occasionally I have to grab my ladder, clime up, disconnect my Argus 2 from my solar panel and physically pull and re-seat the battery in order to reboot the camera due to issues. Why in this day and age would a developer NOT program a simple reboot function in the software? This is very frustrating... Come on REOLINK!
Hi Bill, may I know why did you need to reboot the camera? Basically, the camera will enter the standby mode when there is no motion trigger or accessing. And it won't lose the WiFi connection. So you may needn't reboot the camera manually. If you got an issue with the camera, could you please contact our support team at support.reolink.com? Have a nice day!
You might try pasting the following URL into your browser window with the ip address of the camera and the appropriate username and password to see if you can reboot it remotely before climbing a ladder.http://xx.xx.xx.xx/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=Reboot&rs=test&user=user&password=password
