Hi,I'm currently in the process of evaluating which ip cams to buy.I checked your manuals and faqs but i'm not clear about the following point.the cams should do the following:--> if and during there is motion detected * upload (min 2 to x) pictures per second to an ftp server (secured via ftps or sftp protocol) * the cam should do this on its own (without your client software or any onvif software running somewhere in the background) * ftp upload the corresponding pre- and postmotion buffer (~ 3 seconds) too i wonder if this is possible and would be glad if you could clarify these pointsthanks a lotregards, jon
Dear Jon,Thanks for your intereste in Reolink products. For your questions:1. upload (min 2 to x) pictures per second to an ftp server (secured via ftps or sftp protocol)We support both snapshot and video to be uploaded to FTP server. Snapshot is in jpg format. And video is in mp4 format.2. the cam should do this on its own (without your client software or any onvif software running somewhere in the background)Firstly, you need to do ftp settings on Reolink client. Then it will automatically uploaded the image and video to your FTP server.3. ftp upload the corresponding pre- and postmotion buffer (~ 3 seconds) too The pre-record is 2-3 seconds, with 15 seconds for post record as default.
hi,I have 2 x RLC-410WS and neither uplads video, only jpg. There is no setting in FTP to set jpg, frequency (i.e. 3 pics 1 per second), nowhere to set upload videoI have been through all optionsPlease adviseundefinedundefined
Currently the camera would only upload video to the FTP sever with a snap shot of the first scene of it. With the old firmware, the file type of the recorded video is H.264 which may not be able to run by the video player on the computer.Would you please check what's the firmware version of the camera. Please go to Device Setting >> System >> Information. If it is not the latest one, please upgrade it and see whether the issue would be solved. You may download the firmware by referring to our Firmware Download page.
