How to Customize Push Sound, Android: How to identify notification categories?

There is a support article How to Customize Push Sound and the idea is clear.

But how can I identify different categories? All the notification categories I see are named "Default Channel". If I go inside them I see different numbers for sound, for example 2131165186, 2131165185 and so on. But there are no names and how can I understand which number belongs to which notification type? All other apps provide understandable names for different notification. And of course I need to distinguish between let's say a motion detection on the front door related to a visitor from a motion detection in the Rabbit hutch.
