    I can't obtain configuration information

      Hi,

      My Argus 2 camera stopped working all of a sudden so i tried to reset and add it back to the Reolink Android app. Everything goes fine until I get an error message saying it can't obtain the configuration information of the camera.

      What can I do?

        Well, the usual answer they give people around here is to send an e-mail to support@reolink.com


          I have a reasonable understanding of the setup process myself, having gone through it just recently, so I can try to help. When you say "Reset" you used the actual reset function on the camera to bring it all the way back to factory settings? A successful reset should have the camera saying through its speaker "Please run the Reolink App, add the camera, and set it up". Also, does the error happen when you try to scan the QR code?

            Hi Mike,

            Yes, I pushed the reset button on the side of the camera and I was able to hear the sentence "Please run the Reolink App, add the camera, and set it up" and I was able to read the QR code without any issues.
