Hello Anyone got an honest opinion even if I've made a mistake in my choice of NVR.The camera works fine on a plugin POE injector using the client and email alerts on the mac and my iphone.But when I plug the camera into the HIKVISION, the camera disappears and can't be found on Reolink/HIKVISION device searches.I've entered all the IP setting from the Reolink settings into the HIKVISION client and have been trying to add a camera as Custom or ONVIF but I cant get it to connect, I just seem to be going round in circles for several hours :-(.Any advice appreciated.
Reolink camera ONVIF protocol is STANDARD ONVIF V2.1. ONVIF support list: Blue Iris, Milestone, iSpy, Digital WatchDog, Video Sighthound, Security Spy, Synology, QNap.We suggest to use Reolink NVR which can fully work with Reolink ip cameras.Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Many thanks - the 3rd party NVR was useless anyway, I will purchase a Reolink NVR in the near future. I only need a 4 channel NVR, you only sell this item as a bundle. Any plans to sell it as a standalone product.
Sorry that the 4 channel NVR now only sells as a bundle.When the RLC-422 is connected to the HIKVISION NVR, would you please give a try to low the resolution of it to be 720P and see whether you can see the video? Live view on the HIKVISION NVR should be OK, but function like zoom may not be able to use.
Its a shame that such a nice camera doesn't work as advertised. I have been trying to make this work with my QNAP NAS (your site specifies compatibility with my QNAP) and it will connect but it will not stay connected, it pops on and off even when directly wired to my network. I will be returning all 4 of my cameras. You should really update your code to be more compatible and meet the stated compatibility from your advertising.
