I am using a 7 cameras a mix of 411S and 422s. My NVR is the current release of Blue Iris and I have the current firmware installed. I usually set the frame rate to 20fps.

The video quality is really great, but I have a frame rate problem. Every morning, I find cars passing my front gate are blurred in the captured video (the cars look like the shutter speed is too slow). When I check Blue Iris I find blue iris is automatically changing my frame rate to 21fps or 22fps. I set the frame rate back to 20 and all is OK until the next day. BTW, I have some cameras cloned and often each clone has a slightly different frame rate!)

I understand that Reolink need to provide a means to adjust the iframes in the video in the firmware, when can we expect this to be available as changing all the frame rates everyday is driving me crazy.

      Andrew

I am thankful that I purchased all my cameras from Amazon, because now all of them are going back and I'll get a product that actually works.

Without iframe adjustment these cameras are useless with Blue Iris, so they are not going to work for me.

            Andrew,

I am in the same boat as you, I have 7 410's and 1 420 from amazon. What are you going to get when you return them? This is really disappointing because the cameras put out a good quality feed.

                Brad,

I returned some and moved others to less important locations and am trying out a couple of Dahua IPC-HFW4431R-Z (2.7mm~12mm) they are about $120 on Amazon. They are not a better build quality than the equivalent Reolink 411S and both are IPC but the Dahua firmware is more flexible and has control over iFrames, which fixed all my Blue Iris issues with frame tearing, wandering frame rates and blurring. I have compared both side by side, the image quality is pretty much identical when you encode with Baseline setting, but on the Dahua you can switch to High Quality and the image quality then moves ahead of the 411S.

I am sad that I am having to mix cameras and do not understand why Reolink feel it is not necessary to provide a feature that all other vendors provide as a matter of course. But until they provide a fix, they are not something I would buy again to use with Blue Iris.

                Andrew
