Initial Thoughts

Right out of the box I was quite impressed with the camera. The camera had a satisfying weight indicating decent build quality, and the camera was packaged with a great presentation.

Fortunately I was not left disappointed when using the camera. Set up was a breeze, only requiring a simple download of the camera viewer program. The camera can be set up with 1 ethernet cable if you have a PoE solution. If you do not, it does come with us a power cable as well.

Video quality was surprisingly good. It wasn't full HD but I could distinguish faces caught on camera. That was the most important thing, as well as night vision.

The software of the camera allows you to set up motion alarms or continuously record. However to do new a computer on for that to happen, but if you are a business owner this is a perfect solution.

I definitely recommend this camera as an addition to your current security solution. If this is your first camera, I would recommend one of reolinks NVR kits to get the full experience.

After using it for about a Month now, it has integrated very well into my home security solution. I have a Linux box that easily connected and started recording with my other cameras.
