Can you please document the URLs for getting at the different streams? The default RTSP url seems to give the "clear" stream. I also need to access the lower resolution stream for previews.

Also, Genius Vision can't seem to recognize the 410 and 411 cameras with the newest firmware as supporting ONVIF. Have you tested these cameras with Genius Vision at all (they seem to have pretty good ONVIF support)

Thanks
Jon

Update: I was able to get the ONVIF support working by forcing the HTTP interaction port to 8000 from 80. I would still like to know how to get a direct connection to the lower bit rate streams though.

Thanks

Hi Jon! The URL for RTSP previewing is: rtsp://(user name):(password)@(ip address):554//h264Preview_01_(stream type), in this case if you want to change the stream type, just simply change the (stream type) from "main" into "sub". e.g. rtsp://admin:111111@192.168.1.2:554//h264Preview_01_main;
rtsp://admin:111111@192.168.1.2:554//h264Preview_01_sub.

Thanks. I realized that I did a poor search before and I missed the post with that info already in it. Now I have another question... I understand that the sub stream is for previews but it's highest setting is very low. I am using Blue Iris (I have multiple camera brands right now and and moving a number of them to Reolink cameras.) Blue Iris is having a hard time swallowing the high data rate from the clear stream, but dropping that steam way down reduces the resolution that I get in the Reolink client (which I want to use for real-time viewing.) I noticed that the Reolink client has a "Balanced" option. I would like to know if you can document how that stream is accessed. I'm hoping that there is a parameterized request available, but whatever it is the balanced option looks like it could work with Blue Iris based on the bandwidth that it uses when selected in the Reolink client.

Thanks

Jon

Hello Jon! Our RTSP URL only supports main stream and sub stream. If you want to have better connection with Blue Iris you can change the H.264 profile to Baseline in Encode setting. If the preview quality is still poor, please try lowering the Maximum Bitrate and the resolution.
