I'm newer to the product, but loving it.

I did have a question that I'm sure you all have either faced or will face in the future.  When a new firmware is released for both cameras and NVR, do you lose all existing configuration settings unless you "Export" and "Import" after the firmware update is compete?  I have many of my cameras setup with scheduling, alerting, masking, etc. and I would not want to have to start over just to apply a firmware update.  Is it only the password that is reset when you do a firmware upgrade, but the other configuration setting (camera/NVR) are retained?

When I received the kit I did upgrade all the cameras and NVR before setting it up with my own preferences, so I just wanted to confirm all setting (but password) will be maintained after doing a complete system update.

In my experience, not all settings are retained. Only some. On my last upgrade I had to reconfigure just about everything for each camera as far as motion I believe.

Not what I was hoping to hear, but somewhat assumed.

It would be good to be able to backup the camera configurations prior to flashing them and then just put it back afterwards.  I think you can do this with the NVR today, but not the cameras.

Yes, thanks for your attention and we will have this feature on Reolink cameras in the future.
