I am mounting a 510A PoE camera above my front door, and would like to get rid of the black wiring harness coming out of the camera and instead wire my Cat6 ethernet directly to the camera internal circuitry. Anybody attempt to do this? My front door has white framing and white ethernet running down the side would be far less conspicuous than the black harness with the ethernet, reset and power connectors. I could probably use a round metal ceiling mount, as for a ceiling fan, and tuck the harness inside it, but I'm trying to minimize the camera's profile as much as possible since it's over the front door. Thanks in advance,Dave H.

I posted comments but it said Error I had links not allowed. But there were NO LINKS in my comments. This forum is not working correctly. Reolink has boxes or go buy a PVC box with cover plate.
OK, thanks. I found a 4" round galvanized metal light box 1/2" deep at Lowes, so I'll give it a shot to conceal the wiring harness.
