I have a RLC-410WS wifi camera, after initial setup can I hook it up with an Ethernet cable and run it off a switch thats not POE capable but keep it hooked up to a power supply?
Yes, you can do that.
Well mine doesn't work trying to run it through a switch using Ethernet cable and the cameras power supply, also when I try to do this none of my cameras that are on wifi work. As soon as I disconnect it from switch all cameras come back online. Figure this problem out?
Is your switch connected to the same router as your computer does? Can you find the camera on the Reolink client software when it is connected to the switch? The camera should be in the same network as the computer, otherwise, they cannot communicate with each other. If the switch is connected to the same router while the cameras are still not working, would you please offer me a topology of your network?
My setup is Computer, router , switch. Out of the switch I have a smart TV a BluRay player and one camera. The camera is not recognized by the network. which all are on the same network. I know it should work but it doesn't. When the camera is connected to switch my other camera which is also wifi is not recognized either until I disconnect the ethernet wire. Then all cameras are shown on network.
