I just purchased the Reolink RCL-410WS WiFi IP camera. I'm having issues with the microphone audio. I have the "Record Audio" check box checked in the Encoding option for both the Clear and Fluent streams. I do hear audio but is sounds like a train making a "put, put, put" sound. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Hi ! The "put put put" sound is just what you hear in previewing or playback too? Are you using our Reolink Client or some other software? If it's possible, please show us your configurations and email them to support@reolink.com.Thanks.
Thank you for the fast response. I hear the "put, put, put" in the PC Reolink Client software in live preview mode. I have not tried the playback mode yet. I will email the configuration file to tech support. Thank you.
I just captured a recording and played it back in the PC Reolink Client software and it makes the "put, put, put" sounds on the recorded .264 file as well.
Were you able to get a solution, I am having the same issue with one out of three cameras RLC 410ws?
I'm having the same problem since upgrading to the 16070800 firmware. It sounds like a muffled Gatling gun, very consistent tone and pattern. This is for my RLC-410 and RLC-420 cameras. Thanks,Dan
Hello Dan,May I know what's the operating system of your computer? If it is a windows computer, please also try to upgrade the client software to the latest version(V7.1.2.40) and see whether that will help. You may download the software by referring to Software Download page.
I had this problem on both Windows 10 and Mac OS. Upgrading the client software solved my problem.
The client upgrade solved my audio issues also with Reolink client, but I can no longer record or do live view audio from my onvif compliant NVR. Has anyone else seen this or have a work around?
I had other issues with the Reolink Camera. Haven't tried the audio recording yet but I can hear outside noise. The camera's are great for viewing and keeping tabs on things while you away. But I felt like I was the Beta tester for these cameras. I think Reolink should have put more thought into this camera before they released it. Firmware glitches, wrong software updates. Poorly written Instructions, poorly written and confusing option menus. Just my 2 cents worth.
Admin, Thanks for the quick response. Upgrading the software did seem to get rid of the noise. BTW, I"m running Win 10. version 1511.So far I'm liking your cameras and software.Thank again,Dan 01_20160907134519.jpg
