@archied_538841151893636 For RLN8-410 with hardware No. H3MB16 / H3MB02, the single HDD capacity is up to 4TB, in total up to 8TB. For the RLN8-410 with hardware No. H3MB18 / N2MB02 / N3MB01, the single HDD capacity is up to 6TB, in total up to 12 TB.
If you install higher capacity HDD then you might not be able to watch clips which have been written in the excess sectors. -
@joseph_1979 Many thanks for your reply. Silly question, is there a simple way to know which model of NVR I have? It's only 8 channels and currently has 4TB HDD.
If I need to record and archive for much longer, what's the best Reolink NVR to purchase?
Many thanks once again in advance.

@archied_538841151893636 For Reolink NVR, launch Reolink Client and log in to the NVR, then go to Device Settings > System > Info. You will see the Model, UID, and Hardware No. and Firmware Version for NVRs.
Have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005091374-How-to-Expand-the-Capacity-of-Reolink-NVRs/ -
@joseph_1979 Many thanks for your support. I can install 6TB + 6TB.
Is there any new NVR's that handle larger HDD's?
