Recently purchased an RLC-410 and once in a while it hangs and requires a power cycle. I have another RLC-420 and it has been working very well. Both cameras are attached to an 8-port PoE switch. I tried swapping ports including between the 420 and 410 and 410 still hangs. I'm still trying to determine if it is the camera and will purchase another RLC-410. I just want to make sure i can still get replacement in case it is a defective camera. Both have the latest firmware downloaded from the website this week. Let me know if there is some other test i can do to determine if I received a defective unit. The camera is under my patio so it is not exposed to any harsh condition.
Dear Adelacru,So sorry to learn about your problem. For troubleshooting, would you please kindly connect the camera directly to the reolink client and see whether it will hang?May I know how long your net cable connected from the camera to the NVR?Will it hang if you power it up by the power adapter in the accessory? How about changing another PoE port and checking whether it will hang?If we confirm the camera is defective, we will do a free replacement for you. Please contact support@reolink.com freely for further assistance and troubleshooting. Thanks.
