I have the RLC-410 configured behind a DSL modem on IP 10.0.1.131 port 9991. I have the port properly forwarded on the modem. When I browse (Firefox) to the modem's WAN IP 123.456.789.123:9991 I get the normal RLC-410 GUI login screen. I insert the correct username and password then get the following error in a "Note" box "Login fail! Please try again later!" I have tried logging in on the LAN and WAN "Network Type" it makes no difference. I can login on the local LAN IP/port without a problem. Any ideas why I am getting the "Login fail" error?

      Thanks,
      John

        Hello John,
Thanks for requesting information about our product.
Just for double check, if trying to access the camera from the LAN network by using 10.0.1.131:9991(Network type should be LAN) through a web browser, you will successfully access it, am I right?
If that is working fine while the remote access is not working, please try the following steps:
        1. Delete the history and cookies of the web browser and try again.
        2. Use another web browser and see whether it is working or not.
        3. If you use the UID to access the camera remotely, will the username and password work?
In addition, Is it possible that you could provide us the WAN IP address of your modem, the login username and password of the camera for further troubleshooting? If yes, please send them to support05@reolink.com.
Thanks in advance and look forward to your information.

Hi here is what happened on each of the 3 suggested steps:

          1. Delete the history and cookies of the web browser and try again.
Still had same "Login fail! Please try again later"
          2. Use another web browser and see whether it is working or not.
Had same failure with both IE 11 and FF 47.0
          3. If you use the UID to access the camera remotely, will the username and password work?
I had success with the Reolink Client (windows) V7.1.2.28.
I was able to get to and view the camera from the same Windows PC remotely.

I will send you the public IP and logon credentials for you to work with the browsers remote access. I really need to get this functional.

Thanks for the help with this.
          John

                Hello Paul,
To solve this problem, please try:
                1. upgrade the firmware of the camera to be the latest one, you may download the latest firmware by referring to Firmware Download page.
                2. On your main router, forward the HTTP port(default value is 80) and RTMP port(default value is 1935) to your camera's IP address.
                3. To remotely view the camera via a web browser, use the URL(WAN IP:HTTP port).
If you still have problem in accessing the camera remotely, please contact our technical support at support@reolink.com.
